母親心臟病猝死　醫生救回腹中胎

【綜合報導】衣索比亞前奧運長跑選手雷琪絲（Meskerem Legesse）15日美國一家中餐館買外賣時突然昏迷，送院後證實不治，但醫生奇蹟似的成功救出她腹中胎兒。

26歲的雷琪絲昏迷時，腹中胎兒離預產期僅剩三周。她因心臟病發昏倒，救援人員到場後及在送院途中，不停替她做心肺復甦術，雖然最終不治，但胎兒幸運保住。

雷琪絲曾參加2004年雅典奧運1500公尺賽跑，但由於心臟問題，近年已轉做教練並移居美國，不幸仍死於心臟病。
