【綜合報導】和狗狗玩你丟我撿的遊戲，小心！可能會要了牠的命。
 
獸醫表示真的要玩，千萬別丟擲棍棒類的東西，因為萬一狗狗用力過度咬裂棍棒，可能導致狗狗噎住，感染細菌嚴重者恐導致器官衰竭身亡，建議應該丟擲骨頭、飛盤或是橡膠球。

英國獸醫協會主席羅賓哈格里菲表示，平均每個月就有一隻狗因棍棒受傷，送到醫院開刀，不只費用高昂，開一次刀要5千英鎊，約是23萬台幣，有時飼主根本沒有注意到小狗吞進碎裂的棍棒，等到發現時已經為時已晚。其中黃金獵犬、拉不拉多和柯基犬是最常見的受害者，呼籲飼主如果習慣丟棍棒和狗狗玩耍，最好立刻停止。
