微軟確認放棄 IE 品牌，Windows 10 瀏覽器啟用新名稱

84de142bc67c64f8e530cc49c8a4352a 微軟將在 Windows 10 系統中內建全新的網路瀏覽器，這一瀏覽器開發代號為 Spartan，用以取代毀譽參半的 IE 瀏覽器，IE 品牌也將逐步淡出微軟的核心產品線。

微軟行銷主管 Chris Capossela 在 Convergence 大會上透露，微軟公司正在為全新的 Windows 系統瀏覽器設計品牌名稱，在 Windows 10 系統中考慮到了老使用者的軟體相容性，讓會保留 IE 瀏覽器，但新瀏覽器就徹底取代 IE 在 Windows 10 中舉足輕重的地位。

在過去幾年中微軟採用一系列廣告和行銷活動，扭轉 IE 瀏覽器在用戶心中的糟糕形象，該部門的負責人已經在 2014 年 12 月離職，Windows 系統瀏覽器宣告進行新的時代。在全新的瀏覽器品牌名稱中，很可能會加入微軟公司的名稱。
