年年投入扶助弱勢活動的城都獅子會，有感於市議員蔡玉枝在議員任內捐出薪水濟貧，從４年前起增加濟助台南市中低收入戶家庭，今年的補助金３日在北區光武里活動中心發放，每戶6000元。蔡玉枝議員也特地準備禮盒給受助戶。

已成立38年的城都獅子會，對投入社會公益不遺餘力，除了補助家扶中心助學外，也積極號召會員參與捐血活動，並不定期資助急難救助戶，該會對於市議員蔡玉枝從當選市議員後，即捐出議員薪水從事急難救助與濟貧的善行非常感動，因此在其他的善行之外，特增加每年捐助10戶中低收入戶家庭。

３日在北區光武里活動中心舉行的捐助活動，由城都獅子會會長吳培彰與市議員蔡玉枝共同主持。蔡玉枝勉勵在場的受助戶，期盼他們在生活上或培育孩子就學時若有困難，要勇於求助，除了政府可協助幫忙外，社會的溫暖也會協助大家共同度過難關。
