【大紀元2015年02月26日訊】（大紀元記者任倩雪綜合報導）在2015財政年的前四個月（2014年10月31日到2015年2月28日）期間，紐約市救護車隊為救助心臟驟停的病人出車8804次，比去年同期增長了10%；急救車針對致命醫療緊急事件和火災的時間比去年同期增長了9秒鐘。

報告還顯示，在2014年7月1日到10月31日期間，消防局派遣救護車回應威脅生命安全的緊急醫療事件，所需時間（包括車輛調度和車輛行駛時間）同比減少6秒鐘，而獲得響應的緊急醫療事件數量同比增長8%。

此外，紐約市警察局趕往犯罪現場的時間也有所縮短。2014年平均8.4分鐘派遣一輛巡邏車到犯罪現場，與2013年的9.3分鐘相比也有下降。根據最近市長辦公室發布的報告，2014年7月1日到10月31日期間，一輛救護車平均需要6分45秒趕到緊急醫療救護地點，較2013年同期的6分39秒略增。
