美何時升息　就看「耐心」還在不在？

今年具FOMC表決權的Fed理事萊克（Jeffrey Lacker）接受路透專訪時表示，Fed應在準備升息的前一個會期，拿掉會後聲明「耐心」措辭，而他認為勞動市場已不再寬鬆，為防範通膨，升息宜早不宜遲。

萊克說：「若我們哪次開會覺得下次有可能升息，應該在當次開會拿掉「耐心」措辭。」聯邦準備理事會（Fed）2004年便採取這種做法，當年1月稱將「耐心」移除刺激措施，5月捨棄「耐心」措辭，6月升息。
