雪梨出動警犬 對抗火蟻大軍

南美火蟻入侵雪梨，當局調來三隻接受過特殊訓練的狗，要讓螞蟻窩無所遁形。

研判火蟻是搭乘貨輪，從阿根廷抵達雪梨，假使擴散，可能造成環境災難，雪梨不敢大意，調集25位生物與昆蟲專家，外加三隻警犬，組成滅蟻大隊。

火蟻蔓延速度很快，澳洲布里斯本2001年也曾爆發蟻患，花了兩億多美元才根除。

火蟻原生於巴西，牠尾部帶刺，會釋放毒素，被火蟻叮咬，輕則會產生火燙般的灼熱感，嚴重有可能致命。（圖片取材自網路）
