摩斯雙響砲　運動家6上7比3領先皇家

運動家在美聯外卡戰以守備為重，讓摩斯(Brandon Moss)擔任指定打擊，收到意想不到的效果。摩斯在1局上轟出2分砲，助運動家先馳得點，6局上再轟出3分砲，助運動家以5比3逆轉戰局。
 
摩斯2007年就升上大聯盟，先後效力紅襪、海盜與費城人，除了09年在海盜出賽133場，其餘出賽都不到80場，單季最多僅8轟。2012年與運動家簽下小聯盟合約後，終於找到屬於自己的舞台，連續3季全壘打超過20支，今年25轟、81分打點，打擊率2成34。
 
摩斯過去多半守左、右外野或一壘，但他屬於攻優於守的球員，運動家教練團認為一戰定生死的外卡戰必須以守備優先，決定讓摩斯擔任指定打擊，而讓季中從白襪交易來，但表現不如預期的重砲鄧恩(Adam Dunn)留在板凳待命。
 
皇家克服開局0比2的劣勢，3局下以3比2超前，只是摩斯單場雙響砲重創皇家投手群。6局上，運動家在摩斯逆轉彈後士氣大振，再以4支安打追加2分，目前打完6局上，以7比3領先。(王覺一／綜合報導)
