雅虎股東逼親　促購併AOL

激進投資者Starboard Value致函雅虎（YAHOO!）執行長梅耶（Marissa Mayer），要求雅虎利用手中現金收購美國線上（AOL），同時宣布已大規模收購雅虎股份，意圖向梅耶施壓。

梅耶已發表聲明表示，將仔細評估Starboard Value的公開信。Starboard Value未明確披露其持有的雅虎股票數量，但持股比率超過5%的投資者必須公開持股狀況。

在阿里巴巴的IPO（Initial Public Offering，首次公開發行）中，雅虎也出售了部分阿里巴巴持股，雅虎雖然表示，至少把半數資金還給股東，但部分投資人仍擔心，雅虎可能把剩餘資金用來進行糟糕的收購。

BGC Partners分析師吉林斯（Colin Gillis）表示，雅虎擁有90億美元（2728億元台幣）現金，而AOL的市值只有35億美元（1061億元台幣），因此這筆交易確實有可能發生。（賴宇萍／綜合外電報導）
