陳士魁：僑教中心不作政治用途

太陽花學運成員、中研院副研究員黃國昌八月中原訂赴美演講，但華府僑教中心拒絕出借場地，引發媒體關注。民進黨立委蔡煌瑯、陳唐山、邱志偉等人今在立法院外交國防委員會質疑此舉，蔡更痛批「國民黨可以放火，學運卻不能點燈？」

對此，僑委會委員長陳士魁表示，當初原擬同意出借，但內部還在溝通協調時，出面借用場地的團體就對外放話，甚至威脅若借不到場地就要向媒體投書。他強調政府不能接受要脅，最後決定駁回申請。

針對立委要求僑教中心應統一租借規定，陳士魁表示，目前正在檢討相關機制，未來原則上不提供政治活動使用，但僑教中心主任擁有決定權，若出現爭議則由外館館長裁決，新版租借要點預計下會期出爐。
