傷兵、大咖球星退出，美國隊這次征戰西班牙世界盃，前景堪慮，今天連前兩次大賽，得分全隊最高的Kevin Durant都宣布退出，對美國隊而言，絕對是到目前為止最大的損失。

Kevin Durant上週有來到拉斯維加斯的集訓營報到，但是在今天告訴美國隊這個決定。

「Kevin來找我跟K教練，表達自己在NBA球季結束後身心俱疲，以及對國家隊的責任感，」美國籃協主席Jerry Colangelo在聲明中表示，「在最近拉斯維加斯的集訓中他有嘗試，但是在離開後他覺得自己還是沒有準備好，無法達成他對球隊的使命。」

2010年的世錦賽，美國勇奪自1994年來首座冠軍，Kevin Durant也獲選為MVP，2012年倫敦奧運美國拿下金牌，KD平均每場也作出19.5分的貢獻。

上週Paul George在練習賽斷腿，而在KD之前，已經有Kevin Love，Blake Griffin，LaMarcus Aldridge等明星球員，以及NBA總冠軍賽MVP Kawhi Leonard退出美國隊。
