從福建省第十二屆人大常委會第十次會議上獲悉，截至2013年底，福建累計引進台資專案13524個，實際利用台資220.79億美元(含第三地)。

根據東南網報導，實有台資企業3908戶，均居大陸各省市區第三位；閩台貿易進出口總額1145.14億美元，2013年臺灣成為福建第四大貿易伙伴。

臺灣百大企業中已有60多家在閩投資設廠，助推福建形成電子、石化、汽車等千億產業集群。
