（中央社里約熱內盧10日綜合外電報導）國際足球總會（FIFA）今天駁回烏拉圭足球協會和前鋒蘇亞雷斯提出的上訴，維持他在世界盃比賽咬傷對手後所受懲罰，但此案仍可上訴到體育仲裁法庭。

國際足總發布聲明說：「國際足總上訴委員會已裁定，駁回烏拉圭球員蘇亞雷斯（Luis Suarez）和烏拉圭足協提出的上訴。」

聲明說，這項裁定並沒有約束力。這表示蘇亞雷斯仍可上訴至體育仲裁法庭（CAS）。

蘇亞雷斯目前效力英格蘭利物浦隊（Liverpool），但即將轉投西班牙巴塞隆納隊（Barcelona）。烏拉圭24日雖以1比0擊敗義大利，但他咬傷義大利後衛奇里尼（Giorgio Chiellini）的肩膀後遭到禁賽。
