中華奧會榮譽主席張豐緒　病逝榮總享年87歲

中華民國奧林匹克委員會榮譽主席張豐緒，在6月1日病逝台北榮民總醫院，享年87歲。張豐緒出身屏東縣萬丹鄉政治世家，曾任省議員、屏東縣長、台北市長、內政部長、行政院政務委員及總統府國策顧問等要職，他在1987~1998年任職中華奧會主席，並兼任中華體總會長，直到1994年1月才卸任中華體總會長職務。
 
張豐緒在中華奧會主席任內，全面拓展台灣的國際體育交流，1989年和中國奧會簽訂協議，確立台灣運動團隊中文名稱為「中華台北」，積極促成中華青年體操隊破冰「登陸」參與競技，開啟兩岸體育交流模式，他在1991年當選亞洲奧林匹克理事會執委兼財務委員會主席長達20年。(黎建忠／綜合報導)
