勞軍不忘反酒駕　馬英九：酒駕就是江洋大盜

端午節將屆，馬英九總統今到馬祖勞軍，他除了說明政府推動募兵制的決心外，也不忘對官兵進行反酒駕宣導，馬說，政府採用嚴查重罰方式防範酒駕，因酒駕造成的死亡人數已大幅減少，他也舉自己擔任北市長時為例，當時北市酒駕死亡的人數大概都在5人以下，在台灣各大都會中非常罕見，「沒有什麼道理，就是嚴查重罰，我們把酒駕當做是江洋大盜，就這麼回事」。

馬英九指出，過去一年多，政府防範酒駕的工作做得相當不錯，死亡人數從2006年最多的727人，到去年已降為245人，幾乎減少了2/3；今年到現在為止，與去年同期相比，也減少42人，減少比率約4成，馬強調，酒後駕車是一個非常不負責任的行為，一定要根絕，照這樣推動下去是有機會的，相信軍中在這方面一定可以做得比社會上更好。（晏明強／台北報導）
