高聳貫穿平溪的基福公路即將通車，地方盼維持天燈觀光產業發展，能在基福公路平溪路段加網，以兼顧交通安全。

全長9.6公里基福公路（台2丙線）即將全線通車，未來可從暖暖經平溪直接通車到貢寮區福隆，可節省不少行車時間。

由於高聳貫穿平溪的路段，行車安全可能受到十分寮施放天燈影響，近來地方人士積極與公路總局協調，盼能在十分寮路段的上方加網，以避免天燈掉落影響交通安全。

在平溪知名天燈達人胡民樹表示，道路上方設網，網孔不必太小，只要能攔住掉落的天燈就可以，技術上應不會太難，以兼顧道路安全及地方觀光產業發展，若真的有困難，也可降低速限。

市府指出，由於路權歸公路總局，是否設網由公路總局研酌，但市府會要求相關路段降低速限，還可能依地方需求設計「注意天燈」等特有標誌，若遇大型燈會活動時，也會協調管制交通。(中央社)
