不捨前妻洗冷水澡　窮男偷瓦斯桶

台中市龍井區一家小吃店，11日放在店門外的兩個瓦斯桶遭竊，警方獲報調閱路口監視器，發現竊賊利用深夜騎車載走一個瓦斯桶，15分鐘後再竊取另一個瓦斯桶，警方以車追人鎖定住小吃店附近、常上門光顧的的蔡姓男子﹝62歲﹞涉案，前天到蔡家查察，在廚房發現兩個遭竊的瓦斯桶，客廳掛著犯案時穿著的橫條紋外套，罪證確鑿遂將蔡男帶回偵訊。
 
蔡男向警方表示，他平時當臨時派遣工收入不穩定，和他同居的前妻近來身體不好，卻因沒錢裝熱水器，也沒錢叫瓦斯煮熱水，只能洗熱水澡，他深感不捨，才會趁店家休息時竊取瓦斯桶，警方雖同情其遭遇，仍須依法移送，也呼籲民眾面臨困難，可向社會局尋求協助，切勿以身試法。（王煌忠／台中報導）
