【於慶中／綜合外電報導】今天(19日)凌晨約1時，香港九龍油麻地彌敦道上，出現一條約1歲大、2呎長(60公分)的無毒赤煉蛇，在人行道上遊走，路人發現大驚報警。警員到場先用垃圾筒將蛇蓋住，再等專業抓蛇人(蛇王)到場徒手捉走；捉蛇人戲稱，這條蛇體型細小，作蛇羹頂多也只能煮一碗。

赤練蛇並不是寵物蛇，可能原本是在水溝中冬眠，被沖走後才流落市區。
