英特爾Fab 42延後開幕

【王秋燕／綜合外電報導】個人電腦（PC）市場需求差，衝擊處理器廠商英特爾（intel）業績外，更拖累新廠開幕時間。英特爾宣布，座落在美國亞利桑那州的新晶片廠錢德勒（Chandler）廠，簡稱Fab 42將延後開幕。
 
英特爾強調，Fab 42延後開幕將不會影響英特爾整體產出；將升級位在亞利桑那州其他3廠，可以以現有設備升級。彭博報導指出，英特爾Fab 42目前尚未安裝機台。
 
英特爾美國奧勒岡州、新墨西哥州，以及愛爾蘭與以色列都設有生產廠。
