醫師檢查涉襲胸　稱「印度大學教的」

【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】據英國《每日郵報》報導，英國一名48歲印度裔婦科醫生阿魯卡拉凡南(Angamathu Arunkalaivanan)，以檢查乳房為名，涉嫌非禮女病人，更辯稱其「檢查手法」是從印度的大學學習。

事發在2010年10月，當時阿魯卡拉凡南在一間私家醫院，要求49歲受害女子脫去上衣和內衣，之後從後熊抱受害人，肆意撫摸她的胸部。受害人一度提出質疑，但他說在印度醫學院受訓時，老師是這樣教的，受害人最後決定報警。

當地醫務委員會近日展開聆訊，醫生否認有犯錯，並堅持自己的做法沒問題。委員會接納，乳房檢查是有需要，但他的行為顯示，所謂「乳房檢查」完全是基於其性慾，裁定他專業失德，罰停照一年，但不會吊銷他的醫師執照。
