《時代》：教宗替教會一連串醜聞止血

【國際中心／綜合報導】美國《時代》周刊（TIME）今天公布教宗方濟各獲選2013年年度風雲人物，《時代》方濟各以謙卑樸實的姿態，為世界帶來和解，為信眾帶來希望，替天主教會一連串的醜聞止血，獲選為今年風雲人物。
 
《時代》指出，教宗方濟各（Pope Francis）上任時面臨艱鉅挑戰，飽受教士性醜聞及教廷洗錢醜聞糾纏，「飢渴的信眾仰望，卻得不到善牧」。方濟各卻能在短短幾個月就讓教會耳目一新，替全球受苦民眾帶來慰藉，成為「人民的教宗」。
