【亞職】身材球速不起眼　日投控球精準

【王覺一／桃園報導】日本樂天金鷹這次在亞職大賽已出賽的2名先發投手，辛島航身高173公分，永井怜178公分，未來台的日本總冠軍戰最有價值球員美馬學更矮，只有169公分。大聯盟球探讚歎說：「日本投手身材都不怎麼樣，真不知道怎麼練出來的。」
 
大聯盟球探挑選投手，球速與身高是很重要的2項指標，2者兼具當然是上上之材，若身高不到180公分，除非球速平均超過150公里，否則很難獲得青睞。偏偏日本職棒有不少類似辛島航、永井怜的投手，不僅身材不起眼，球速也只有140公里出頭，但控球精準，一樣能壓制打者。
