【姚瑞宸／綜合報導】統一獅隊在第6局，提前換球季中的守護神「大餅」林岳平上場中繼。
面對三星獅隊4名打者，對第9棒鄭炳坤投出觸身球外，三振第1棒斐榮燮後，被2棒丁亨植擊出中外野一壘安打，讓三星獅在2出局後攻佔一、三壘，統一獅緊急喊停，再換左投手邱子愷登板，讓三星第4棒蔡泰仁擊出左外野飛球，成功化解失分危機。
