國銀：今年底前人民幣存款餘額將衝破千億

【王立德／台北報導】截至10月底為止，國銀外匯指定銀行（DBU，Domestic Banking Unit）人民幣存款餘額達885.04億元，國際金融業務分行（OBU，Offshore Banking Unit）人民幣存款餘額達347.43億元，累計國銀人民幣存款衝破1200億元，達1232.47億人民幣。

國銀主管表示，央行總裁彭淮南日前大動作找主要國銀董總開會，希望能拉高人民幣存款利率，多數國銀也從善如流，給予存戶更優惠的人民幣存款利率，是10月人民幣存款餘額月增245.88億元的主因。

國銀主管預估，年底前台灣DBU人民幣存款很可能就會破千億元，成為發展離岸人民幣金融商品的肥沃土壤。
