胡瓜任國家地理頻道主持人

胡瓜雖然未能因「金頭腦」得到金鐘獎最佳綜藝節目主持人，由於該節目的收視不錯、口碑亦佳，讓他更增知性氣質，獲國家地理頻道邀請，擔任新節目「大腦使用手冊」中文版主持人。雖然節目中的多項實驗內容都是國外攝製，胡瓜卻不只是照著翻譯稿念中文版本，而是以更具親和力的方式將大腦的科學介紹給普羅大眾。

對此次邀約，胡瓜期待能和其他國家版本有何不同風格？他笑答：「能夠接受優質的國家地理頻道邀請，成為台灣之光，雖然很高興，但這樣的任務也是相當艱鉅的。在讀劇本時，自己也像是上了一課。我想用輕鬆愉快又幽默的方式，把大腦科學這樣的主題變得容易了解，讓台灣觀眾不論男女老少都能看得懂。」
