鴻海贊助莊智淵球館　10年6000萬

【王毓健／臺北報導】鴻海集團董事長郭台銘宣布將贊助臺灣桌球一哥莊智淵名下「智淵乒乓球館」，為期10年，總額6000萬臺幣。上午才從德國飛回臺灣的莊智淵說：「8月才接獲通知，有點不敢相信，像郭董之前都是電視上才看得到人。我再打也沒幾年，希望能不負所託，以教練身分把所學傳給下一代。」
 
郭台銘致詞時以「莊博士」稱呼莊智淵，並大力推崇他與莊媽李貴美表現是真正臺灣不怕吃苦、肯拼搏精神，「智淵不只是體育技術的博士，也是做人做事的博士。」
 
李貴美坐在台下，數度熱淚盈眶，她說：「當初世錦賽拿冠軍回來有傳聞，我就想反正也不會成真，沒想到今天實現，像做夢一樣。希望明年能把成效慢慢做出來。」
