山難40失蹤 尼泊爾軍方搜救

（中央社加德滿都18日綜合外電報導）尼泊爾軍隊今天密集搜尋白雪覆蓋、崎嶇不平的喜馬拉雅山地區，尋找日前的暴風雪山難還有否其他生還者。

這場暴風雪的罹難人數躍增至43人，並有175人受傷，堪稱尼泊爾最嚴重的山難之一。

尼泊爾登山季高峰時期的反常天氣，為安納布爾納山峰（Annapurna）周圍長達240公里的步道帶來雪崩，目前仍有40多人失蹤。安納布爾納為全球第10高峰，登山愛好者通常需花3週時間才能爬完。

有12架直升機投入搜尋行動，將搜救人員垂吊到無法進入的其他地區，軍人則兵分多路搜尋

領導搜救行動的陸軍軍官希瑞斯塔（NiranjanShrestha）說：「這將是我們目前展開的最嚴密搜尋與追蹤行動。」

他說：「士兵將挖雪搜尋，確保不會遺漏任何一具遺體。他們動作非常迅速，可在傍晚前完成搜救行動。」（譯者：中央社張曉雯）1031018
