去年每篩檢176名女性就找出1名乳癌者

【張博亭／台北報導】乳癌是婦女常見的癌症，根據衛生福利部國民健康署調查，乳癌發生率已從1996年的每10萬人有30.1人，增加到2010年每10萬人有63.2人，國健署副署長孔憲蘭表示，雖乳癌有增加趨勢，但死亡率僅小幅增加，主要是該署推動乳癌篩檢，以去年為例，共67萬名婦女接受乳房攝影檢查，發現了3800名乳癌個案，相當於每篩檢176名女性便可找到1名乳癌個案。
 
孔憲蘭指出，有近6成女性認為自己身體健康不需要檢查，另外也有逾2成表示自己太忙沒有時間，但卻可能因此錯過早期篩檢、早期治療的時機，根據研究顯示，每2到3年接受1次乳房X光攝影檢查，可降低50到69歲婦女乳癌死亡率21%到34%。
