​中元節不怕無雞　新北首家屠宰場將完工

【賴佳昀／台北報導】因食品安全考量，行政院農委會公告102年5月17日起不得於合格屠宰場外宰殺活禽，再加上台北市環南家禽市場宣布自本月(8月)10日起，不再屠宰外縣市之活禽，面對即將到來的中元節禽肉超大需求量，新北市只好自立自強。

端午節台北環南家禽市場屠宰線暴量大塞車，致供貨不及，預估七夕及中元節也是祭祀大日，雞隻需求量將比端午節還大，而新北市為全國最大土雞消費地，以往卻無自己的屠宰場，新北市政府副市長李四川表示，由市府輔導民間自建之泰山屠宰場，應可在8/10日前取得使用執照等許可證。
