見英國女皇竟坐下　原來是斐濟習俗

【綜合報導】英女皇與安妮公主18日訪問坎布里亞(Cumbria)，獲當地士兵和市民夾道歡迎，然而一名中士卻在女皇走到面前時突然坐下，在旁市民見到為之譁然，但女皇表現淡定，完全不感到驚訝。

原來32歲的中士魯夏特（Rusiate Bolavucu）來自斐濟，他表示遇到國家元首時坐下是斐濟的傳統，還要低頭與盤膝以示尊敬。魯夏特還說「女皇曾到訪斐濟，她是知道的，又問我來自甚麽地方，所以看到我這樣做時，女皇微笑了」。不過，一旁不明就裡的市民，還以為魯夏特對女皇不禮貌。
