記者黃志政／台中報導 由日據時代「水源館」修建而成的臺中市北區樂英里水源文化休閒中心完工啟用，市長胡志強18日親自到場揭牌，歡迎長輩常常來走走，散散心、聊聊天。 胡市長表示，水源館原本在日據時代為「水質化驗所」，光復成為省政府環保處宿舍，但後來廢除無人管理，又髒又亂，87年里長梁成為清除髒亂，請盧立委爭取教育部280萬元整地，並興建球場。 胡志強指出，91年凍省，省府環保處將地還給市府，當時擔任市議員的梁成在92年以歷史建物之名，向文建會爭取430萬元全面整修，95年作為「樂英社區照顧關懷據點」，至98年借用期滿交還市府。 胡志強表示，去年召開基層鄰里座談會時，梁里長希望不要荒廢，讓水源館可以成為多功活動中心。市府、盧立委與議員立即共同爭取經費，體育處編列40萬元經費，由北區區公所全程督促整修粉刷、申請水電、購置辦公桌、椅等，歷經兩個月完成。
