印學童午餐奪20命 疑殺蟲劑肇禍

【綜合報導】印度規模世界最大的學童午餐計畫驚傳中毒事件，東部比哈省（Bihar）1所小學有25名學童吃下疑似遭殺蟲劑汙染的免費午餐後喪命，憤怒的家長和民眾上街抗議，演變成暴動。

在比哈省首府巴特納收治病童的醫院主管辛赫表示：「我們覺得食物裡意外或有意混入了某種殺蟲劑，但要經過調查才能確定。」比哈省教育局長沙熙也說，這頓午餐「似乎有毒」。初步調查顯示，食物可能遭到用作穀類作物殺蟲劑的有機磷酸酯汙染，而這些穀物沒有清洗乾淨。事發後這所小學的校長嚇得逃走，已經遭到撤職。
