 城都獅子會濟助弱勢家庭

年年投入扶助弱勢活動的城都獅子會，有感於市議員蔡玉枝在議員任內捐出薪水濟貧，從４年前起增加濟助台南市中低收入戶家庭，今年的補助金３日在北區光武里活動中心發放，每戶6000元。蔡玉枝議員也特地準備禮盒給受助戶。
已成立38年的城都獅子會，對投入社會公益不遺餘力，除了補助家扶中心助學外，也積極號召會員參與捐血活動，並不定期資助急難救助戶，該會對於市議員蔡玉枝從當選市議員後，即捐出議員薪水從事急難救助與濟貧的善行非常感動，因此在其他的善行之外，特增加每年捐助10戶中低收入戶家庭。
３日在北區光武里活動中心舉行的捐助活動，由城都獅子會會長吳培彰與市議員蔡玉枝共同主持。蔡玉枝勉勵在場的受助戶，期盼他們在生活上或培育孩子就學時若有困難，要勇於求助，除了政府可協助幫忙外，社會的溫暖也會協助大家共同度過難關。

| 重返大馬幸運地 謝淑薇奪今年單打會內首勝

曾經在2012年馬來西亞公開賽一路從會外打到冠軍的台將謝淑薇，今年單打會內遲遲未開張，本周重返馬來西亞公開賽獲得大會會內外卡下，終如願首度在單打會內登場，謝淑薇終場以2比1力克大會第3種子、世界第35澳洲女將黛拉夸(C.Dellacqua)晉16強，終於在今年球季首度在單打會內賽開胡。
謝淑薇在2012年唯一1次對決過黛拉夸，就是在馬來西亞公開賽，當時謝淑薇以直落二獲勝，但時隔三年後，謝淑薇單打世界排名已掉到第181，這回還是靠著大會外卡才能在會內參賽，今年前四站也都在單打會外止步。
謝淑薇首盤三度破發下，以7比5取得領先；第二盤打到1比2時，一度受到大雨干擾，重新開賽後，謝淑薇以2比6被扳平；幸好在關鍵第三盤時，謝淑薇穩住陣腳，發球局沒被拿到任何破發點下，二度破發後以6比3拿下勝利，謝淑薇下一輪將對上世界第132的日本江口實沙。(詹健全／綜合報導)

| 歷史首見 中國單月電影票房超越美國

《日本經濟新聞》報導指出，2月份適逢農曆春節假期，中國電影市場票房收入較前1年成長25%，達40.5億元人民幣（202.5億台幣），歷史以來首次單月票房收入超過美國，美國同期票房預期則為40億元人民幣（200億元人民幣）。
在大年初一的2月19日當天，就有超過1000萬人前往電影院，票房收入達3.6億元人民幣（180億元人民幣），也創下單日最高紀錄。其中票房最佳的為周潤發主演的《澳門風雲2》、成龍主演的《天將雄獅》則排名第2。（陳冠穎／綜合外電報導）
