【王秋燕／綜合外電報導】美國聯邦準備理事會（聯準會）9月會議紀錄顯示，大多數理事們同意可能會在今年縮減公債收購速度，但最終結果顯示聯準會9月出乎意料未採取這一措施。會議紀錄另顯示，聯準會理事們需要看到更多顯示美國經濟穩步成長的跡象。

【張貴翔、余思維／新北報導】今天是國慶日，警方在雙北市聯外橋樑進行臨檢，於上午10時許，中興橋三重往北市方向，1名男子駕車遭警方攔檢，在攔檢點前突然棄車跳橋，隨後在水面上載浮載沉。警消獲報到場，會同警方駕駛船艇，將男子帶回岸邊，李男腳部有骨折，由警方陪同送醫。

警方調查，該名40歲李姓男子是毒品通緝犯，當時車內還有他的3名小孩。李男向警表示，今天原本要去新店工作，順便帶兒子去玩，不料看到警方臨檢，才會心急跳下橋；警方偵訊後將李男移送歸案。

【林巧雁／台北報導】立法院財委會今天通過立委薛凌、翁重鈞、羅明才、吳秉叡、許添財提案，要求8大行庫研議撤回高鐵的聯貸資金或提高放款利率。財政部長張盛和說，會要求檢討，撤回貸款因有合約不太可能，提高利率可研究。
 
羅明才質詢時指出，萬物齊漲、薪水不漲，高鐵卻漲價，官股銀貸款給高鐵聯貸利率從十幾%降到現在1.8%，高鐵以前快倒了苦苦哀求，現在賺錢了，就漲價讓民眾分擔痛苦，銀行還變相補貼，讓高鐵吃香喝辣，民眾心中多痛，只能槌心肝，這樣合理嗎？張盛和表示，會向交通部長葉匡時反映。
 
立委提案指出，高鐵2011年已轉虧為盈，2012年獲利持續成長，目前再度調高票價，未來盈餘將更亮麗，但高鐵至今積欠8大行庫特別股股息累積超過30億元，且相關行庫追討不力，有違公司治理原則，造成國庫收入減少，民眾權益受損，要求8大行庫研議撤回聯貸資金或提高放款利率。
 
台灣銀行董事長李紀珠說，高鐵與銀行團對於特別股的利息何時支付有不同意見，若主張重大違約重新議約，重大違約的定義須由交通部認定，當初合約訂得很嚴謹，目前貸款的利率為每年階梯式調高，是否提高利率需再與參貸行研究。
