| 跨性別學童自由選擇隱私空間 美國加州首立法保障

【綜合報導】加州成為美國第一個州政府在法律中，保障跨性別（transgender）K-12（5-18歲）學童自由選擇使用男生或女生專用浴室或更衣室的權利。
民主黨籍的州長布朗（Jerry Brown）12日宣布，他已簽署了編號為「AB1266」的法案。這項新法旨在保障學童以「自我知覺」（self-perception）的性別取代天生性別的所屬權利，法案中除保障跨性別學童選擇相關涉及隱私的使用空間外，也讓這些學童自由選擇體育課的上課項目。

| 疑抽菸引火警 女子送醫不治

【李銘宏／台北報導】今天凌晨2時許，新北市土城區中央路4段一處出租套房突然冒出濃煙，警消到達後，在屋內救出一名40多歲女子，經送醫急救後，女子仍傷重不治。
警消表示，現場為公寓2樓改建的套房，一共有8間，四間住有房客，發生火警的是靠近最裡面的房間，警消將這名55歲的嚴女救出時，全身已經嚴重傷燙傷沒有生命跡象，警消勘查現場後發現，床鋪邊是燃燒最嚴重的地方，初步研判可能是抽煙所引起的火勢，加上死者有服用精神科鎮靜藥物的習慣，可能並無意識到火警發生，因此受困在屋內無法順利逃出，目前警方已經封鎖現場，並調查詳細起火原因。

【綜合報導】中國江蘇省常州一名即將結婚的年輕女子，昨晚(13日)6時許在家中洗澡時突然暈倒，救護車到場時，女子已沒有心跳、呼吸。
據傳這名女子自覺有點過胖，為了能穿上漂亮的婚紗，她在網路上購買一些保健減肥膠囊，到出事時已經服用了1個多月。事發前數天，女子就曾暈倒。目前當地警方正進一步調查具體死因。

【蘇威全╱綜合報導】日本昨公布「2013年上半年賣座日本電影TOP10」排行榜，排行榜以去年冬季至今年6月底上映的日本電影票房為統計依據，前3名都是動畫片的天下，在日本賣座68.5億日圓（約20.9億元台幣）的《航海王電影：Z》，成為今年上半年賣座日片冠軍，《哆啦A夢：大雄的祕密道具博物館》與《名偵探柯南：絕海的偵探》分別排名第2、3名。
目前在台灣上映中的《哆啦A夢：大雄的祕密道具博物館》，在台上映11天，突破台北200萬票房大關，全台票房已突破500萬元大關，該片也是繼2000年《大雄的太陽王傳說》後，近13年來最賣座的《哆啦A夢》系列電影。《航海王電影：Z》則預計30日發行平裝版與精裝版DVD，目前於全家超商Famiport機台開放預購中。
《哆啦A夢：大雄的祕密道具博物館》在日本、台灣票房都開出紅盤。

| 埃及死亡人數攀升 國際譴責武力鎮壓

【綜合報導】埃及政府軍使用武力「清場」，造成多人死傷，目前外電報導指死亡人數至少已破300人，國際間多國譴責埃及政府的武力行動。英國外交大臣夏偉林批評埃及政府的清場行動，並非常關注當地的局勢發展。德國外政大臣韋斯特韋勒表示，整起事件造成埃及對峙的局勢升溫，呼籲埃及各派系展現對話誠意。伊朗和卡達都譴責埃及當局的行動。
埃及政府不但出動武裝部隊鎮壓抗議民眾，今天白天更切斷了進出開羅所有的鐵路運輸，以免抗議的火焰隨著鐵路流竄到全國其他地點。
