因應明年立委選舉，國民黨中央設置七人提名小組，並增設評鑑和民調門檻，引發正反意見，國民黨籍立委呂學樟說，其實幹部評鑑是回歸到最早的時候，過去國民黨初選階段也有此做法，包括幹部評鑑跟黨員意見，現在則有民調。他說，這並不是創新的制度。

呂學樟說，幹部評鑑其實是對現任立委優先提名的保障，他對此樂觀其成。

至於KPI標準，是否可能引發爭議？他則認為，在立法院問政表現或是選民服務，有走過必留下痕跡，對現任立委來說，本來就是必須要做的事情，也是對立委的一個肯定。

他表示，「所以我不認為這是一個不好的做法，這樣滿公平的，現任立委可以專心問政，表現的好當然優先提名」。
