高雄一名63歲沈姓婦人，疑似因不熟工作環境，開工第一天就在朋友經營的鐵工廠被機器夾住，送醫後仍然宣告不治身亡。

根據了解，沈婦朋友經營的是專門製作鐵栓的鐵工廠，過年期間工廠內機器全部停止運轉，因此開工日工作人員才會先將機器開啟暖機，但沒想到卻因此發生憾事，讓不熟悉工廠作業環境的沈婦，被機器撞擊夾住。

案發後，高雄市消防局前鎮分隊，立即在第一時間趕抵現場，但經送醫搶救後仍然宣告不治；對於詳細事發原因，目前高雄警方和勞工局已進一步展開調查。
