孟加拉一艘載有100多人的渡輪於（22）日下午在博多河（Padma）行駛時，撞上一艘貨船導致翻覆，地點位在首都達卡西北方約40公里處。目前已尋獲31具遺體，失蹤人數仍無法確切掌握。

據《U.S. NEWS》報導，警方表示這艘渡輪原本預定從帕特里亞（Paturia）出發，前往拉傑巴里的道拉蒂亞（Daulatdia），但在博多河時與一艘貨輪相撞，發生船難翻覆。

報導指出，目前救援行動仍在進行中，但不清楚確切的失蹤人數。據悉，博多河上行駛渡輪常不符安全標準，超載致沉沒事故頻傳。
