加拿大傳狂牛症 食藥署：未進食

加拿大傳出4年來首例狂牛症，官方昨天主動通知我國衛生福利部食品藥物管理署。食藥署表示，依據加國說法，該隻病牛是在農場發現，證實為「牛海綿狀腦病」，但因沒有送進屠宰場屠宰，沒有進入食物供應鏈，現階段不會調整對加拿大牛肉的進口管制。

食藥署署長姜郁美表示，依國內法規與台加牛肉協議要求，加國輸台牛肉必須是30個月齡以下健康牛隻，且經官方獸醫師屠前檢查通過，並開立證明文件。當出現狂牛症時，必須立即通知台灣，並提供所有相關資料，由視衛福部視情況調整管制措施。

姜郁美說，若世界動物衛生組織將加國狂牛症狀態降等，也就是加國牛隻染狂牛症的風險提高，台灣就會暫停進口加國牛肉，確保食品安全。
