伊斯蘭國（IS）挾持的日本人質後藤健二前天證實遇害後，同為IS人質的約旦飛官卡薩斯貝，現況令人擔憂。英國《泰晤士報》昨報導，約旦國王阿布杜拉二世為早日讓卡薩斯貝獲釋，壓力愈來愈大。

約旦表明，願拿被關在約旦的伊拉克女死囚瑞夏維交換卡薩斯貝，但前提是IS必須證明卡薩斯貝平安。對此，IS始終未證明，外界擔心他恐已喪命。約旦政府稱：「已動員所有政府機關，以確認卡薩斯貝是否倖存。」

報導還指，IS雖透過兩名日本人質吸引全球目光，但此事既沒替IS換來約63億台幣的贖金，也沒換到瑞夏維，到頭來只是讓手中人質籌碼愈來愈少。美國布林茅爾學院心理學教授麥可考利（Clark McCauley）認為，「殺害第2名日本人質（後藤）是一大錯誤，他們什麼都沒換到。」（林沿瑜／綜合外電報導）
