人質遇害　母慟：盼人們理解他的仁慈勇氣

激進組織伊斯蘭國（Islamic State，IS）發布斬首日本人質後藤健二的影片，日本首相安倍晉三強烈譴責暴行，稱不會原諒，不會屈服。後藤的母親石堂順子表示，難過到無法用言語表達心情，稱：「我兒子的最後行動，是去敘利亞幫助日本同胞（同遭斬首的人質湯川遙菜）。因此，我希望人們理解我兒子的仁慈與勇氣。」

路透報導，後藤的哥哥則說，原本希望能在弟弟平安歸來後表達感謝，對於出現如此結果，感到十分遺憾。（林奐成╱綜合外電報導）
