英廚擬登聖母峰　烹調世界最高晚餐

英國諾丁漢郡的廚師貝恩（Sat Bains），4月擬登聖母峰製作世界最高晚餐，以創下金氏世界紀錄。

今年43歲的貝恩擁有兩家餐廳，並曾獲廚藝大獎，他擬在峰頂做一頓三道菜大餐， 由於惡劣的自然環境限制，登聖母峰要帶的食材必須仔細挑選，在海拔很高的地方仍然要能保證新鮮。他決定用融化的冰川水做一道湯，佐以海帶、蘑菇、牛肉和焦糖。

貝恩表示在低溫地區食物的味道會發生變化，所以必須用調味品和口感來彌補不足。而且，由於攀登聖母峰是對人體極限的挑戰，所以這些食物必須營養豐富。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
