醋女燒炭　險害死1月大女嬰

新竹市1名29歲的廖姓女子，與32歲陳姓男友相戀，1個多月前廖女還為男友未婚生女。未料廖女竟懷疑陳姓男友移情別戀，昨夜自已買了木炭，把孩子放在床上，自已到廁所準備自殺。
 
未料陳男打電話給廖女時，兩人竟在電話中大吵一架，廖女氣憤之餘跑到外面，買了一把刀子割腕及刎頸，遭民眾發現報警送醫，陳男急忙趕回探望女友，幸僅皮肉傷無大礙。
 
事後，陳男才問起廖女，廖女表示家中有燒炭，而且女兒還在家裡，氣急敗壞的趕回家裡，請警衛打開房門，女嬰正哇哇大哭，緊急將女娃送醫，並將廁所炭火熄滅，幸女嬰僅吸入少許的一氧化碳並無大礙。(楊勝裕／新竹報導)
