據《華盛頓郵報》報道，雷-艾倫（Ray Allen）仍然沒有確定是否征戰下賽季，7支球隊等待他的決定。

NBA新賽季訓練營下周將開始，10月5日季前熱身賽也將開打，熱火、騎士、馬刺、公牛、快艇、小牛以及巫師都在等雷艾倫的回音，一旦他作出繼續打球決定，他們將展開哄搶。

據報導，巫師是對艾倫最感興趣的球隊，可以給他開出有保障的合約。

上賽季艾倫效力熱火是第19個賽季，平均上場26.5分鐘得到9.6分。他是歷史上三分出手和命中最多的球員。

艾倫如果他再打1季，將年滿40歲，他之所以有退休想法，原因是不想打到40歲，他怕到時候被人嫌棄，不得不進行退休，他想在自己能打的時候急流勇退，這樣的話不至於毀掉一世英名。

7隊並不顧慮雷艾倫狀態的下降，仍然想得到這個經驗豐富的老將。
