美人質母向伊斯蘭國求情　「我兒無辜」

伊斯蘭激進聖戰組織「伊斯蘭國」上周威脅殺死遭其脅持的美國記者索特洛夫（Steven Sotloff），他的母親昨天向「伊斯蘭國」領袖巴格達迪求情，說兒子是無辜的記者，不能控制美國政府的政策，亦不應承受其行動的後果，要求「伊斯蘭國」釋放他。

這段由索特洛夫的母親雪莉（Shirley Sotloff）求情影片在阿拉伯衛星電視台播出，她說，在兒子被綁架的一年來，她更了解伊斯蘭教，也同意該教所說，「一個人不應為他不能控制的事情而受罰」。她說，兒子是去中東報導穆斯林在暴君下受的苦難，時刻嘗試幫助弱小。

31歲的索特羅夫（Steven Sotloff）為《時代》周刊等傳媒工作，去年8月在敍利亞近土耳其邊境被擄。在上周「伊斯蘭國」公開處決美國記者佛里（James Foley）的片段中，聖戰分子押出索特羅夫，指他的生死取決於歐巴馬的決定。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
