香港票房已接近台幣億元的《那夜凌晨，我坐上了旺角開往大埔的紅VAN》，今(13日)於台北電影節進行台灣首映，導演陳果與男主角任達華更訪台，一同出席記者會，任達華妙喻：《紅VAN》猶如德國隊，雖然沒有超強明星，所有演員卻能團結一致，勇奪好票房。

對女兒疼愛有加的任達華，記者會上開口閉口就是世界盃德國隊，原來他9歲的女兒是德國隊忠實粉絲，他說：「這次世界盃真的非常好看，我看到都沒時間睡覺，幸虧我“年輕精力旺”，而且我女兒支持德國隊，所以我也要跟著支持，今晚我們更要一起視訊，幫德國加油拿冠軍！」

任達華跟陳果導演雖然相識30多年，但這次卻是兩人首次合作，任達華透露，由於原著小說中對角色的描述不多，他所飾演的發叔其實是兩人一起討論出來的，甚至參考了香港特首梁振英的說話方式。

任達華還透露，自己明年將要當導演，來台拍攝一部純台灣本土的電影，將他喜歡的西門町、宜蘭等地，全都拍攝進去。
