（中央社巴西雷西夫20日綜合外電報導）哥斯大黎加今天在世界盃D組第二場比賽攻勢連連，但始終未能建功，戰到第43分鐘，隊長魯伊斯終於以頭槌攻破城門，先馳得點，上半場終了取得1比0領先義大利優勢。

魯伊斯（Bryan Ruiz）埋伏門前，獲隊友狄亞士（Junior Diaz）妙傳吊中，掌握機會將球頂進門內，讓傷癒上陣的義大利老牌門將布馮（Gianluigi Buffon）也難以阻擋。

義大利除了自己拼晉級，此役結果英格蘭也很關注，可能會祈禱義大利幫他們一把，在今晚打敗哥斯大黎加，因為如此已連二敗的英格蘭才能保住晉級的希望，以免56年來首度在世界盃分組賽早早出局。

在首場比賽以2比1擊敗英格蘭的義大利，即使擊敗了哥斯大黎加，也無法確定能讓英格蘭晉級，因為哥斯大黎加以3比1扳倒烏拉圭。

英格蘭昨天再以1比2敗給烏拉圭後，除了必須祈求義大利於24日再擊敗烏拉圭，自己也必須打敗哥斯大黎加，並握有較佳的淨勝球，才晉級有望。(中央社)
