加拿大牧場虐牛　殘忍影片曝光

位於加拿大西海岸不列顛哥倫比亞省亞省奇利瓦克鎮一牧牛場「Chilliwack Cattle Sales」遭曝虐待乳牛，引發輿論譴責，加拿大最大的牛奶生產商薩普托(Saputo)宣佈，暫停收購這家農場的牛奶。 　　

日前加拿大一保護動物的組織「加拿大憐憫動物」公佈了這家牧場虐待乳牛的影片，影片中可看到乳牛被關在一個個狹小的隔間裡，還被飼養員用腳踢和用鐵管打。

農場主人傑夫庫伊曼隨後開除了涉嫌虐待動物的8名雇員，加拿大動物保護協會則提出起訴這些人，牛乳製品公司薩普托表示，他們深度關切自己出售的牛奶是如何被生產出來的，不能接受奇利瓦克農場這種虐待乳牛的行為，公司已經與不列顛哥倫比亞省農業廳等進行聯繫。薩普托表示，虐待乳牛不但違背了該公司的價值觀，也違背了消費者和顧客的價值觀。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
