日防長視察鹿兒島：將加強西南防衛

日本防衛大臣小野寺五典今天赴鹿兒島視察，他除了表示將在奄美大島部署沿岸警備部隊，也稱將在沖永良部島增設新型雷達，增強西南防衛。

小野寺說，奄美大島是防衛省加強針對包括尖閣諸島（釣魚台列嶼）在內的西南防禦態勢，是自衛隊的警備部隊候補地點，也希望能增強此區域的防災動員能量。

他在鹿兒島縣沖永良部島也視察了航空自衛隊分屯基地，表示有必要儘快實現西南地區的警戒監視和防空能力的提昇，設置新型雷達也可增強對中國、俄羅斯軍機在周邊空域的活動監控。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
