美食人魔被派到監獄廚房　傳廚藝真的好

先前計畫殺人食屍的美國紐約前警員瓦雷(Gilberto Valle)，在獄中等候上訴期間，被派到廚房工作，傳出他的廚藝獲得獄警好評。

據美國《紐約每日新聞》報導，瓦雷去年被判企圖綁架、性侵、謀殺、烹煮及進食6名女子罪成，案件將於下月19日判刑，最高可判終身監禁。瓦雷正就判決上訴，法官一直未判刑，考慮是否重新審訊。

瓦雷的母親伊莉莎白透露，瓦雷在獄中下廚打發時間，一邊弄早午餐給囚犯和獄警，一邊為自己辯護。伊莉莎白說，有囚犯知道瓦雷的來頭，笑稱「不要靠近爐子」。不過，伊莉莎白堅信，兒子的廚藝不差，以做薄餅最拿手，據傳連獄警也捧場。（施旖婕／綜合外電報導）
